i can't believe xmas is in 10 days. and that i don't have two weeks off. and that betsy had to rub it in.
my coworkers are so silly. they were just falling all over themselves trying to come up with gift ideas for my dad. i totally bought him the gris gris and the moore brothers and nedelle & thom. who has a crush on thom moore? not me! (amanda was right, i guess i do have a thing for toms.) the show at the stork was lovely last night. such a pleasant and pretty acoustic affair. and i've become such a weirdo...ian introduced me to greg moore and i blurted out, "i met you at my house!" he replied, "oh yeah, i remember meeting you in your kitchen." what an incredible sweetheart. he's all excited about coming over saturday. "will there be cookies?" he asked. "can i have a cookie?" ian introduced me to thom moore, and i said, "and i met YOU last weekend." he responded with a trying-to-place-you expression, so i elaborated: "emily grayson's party? prom dress?" which of course turned into mildly drunk ian turning to thom and saying, "you wore a prom dress to a party?" there was also greg's comment a tad later on: "i like to think that we're a combination of the smothers brothers and the everly brothers." i didn't tell them that i bought their CD for my dad. ian has a total hard-on for the new CD and told me that i should just open it and listen to it now and give it to my dad without the shrink wrap. faux pas, dude. faux pas.

Jesus, julia, you really pull the weirdos out of the woodworks to comment on your blog. A scary-looking Canadian who does that cApiTalIZatiOn thing? Well done!
