1) Namedrop Eric James Ball and Manuel Jose Contreras on blog so that they chill the fuck out.
2) Have a beer with Katie Murphy (Katie Murphy!!). Catch up on past 5 or so years.
3) Write irate/charmingly chiding email. What the fuck does he mean "never emailing me"? That's a damn lie.
4) Get to work on time. Mutter under breath at assholes on train.
5) Take car to the mechanic. Evaluate level of dependence on said car. Compare and contrast with addictions to various substances, i.e. alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, caffeine, sugar, Fritos.
6) Post on other blog. (I'm hella not pulling my weight.)
6a) Start extended email chain debating whether "rain" is too simplistic a theme, and whether we're truly ready to begin something more complex.
7) Craigslist some jobs up in this heezy.
8) Swoon over various crushes. Mourn terrible timing and injustices of universe. Decide none of them are that cool. Vow celibacy. Vow celibacy until attainment of one crush or another. Repeat.
9) Stalk friends from elementary school via Friendster/MySpace/internet white pages. Mull over whether actual contact is creepy or awesome. Decide former. Return to new favorite MySpace page. Laugh at myself for dating that guy for three whole months, even after he told me I wasn't as "deep" as he was. Remind myself it was six years ago. Congratulate myself for my much improved taste. Try not to be reminded of Nerveguy. Roll eyes.
10) Get some work done. You know, if there's time for that.
11) Giggle about Jesseworkguy's Xmas card (which just arrived yesterday). Hehehehe, he sent a picture of himself playing guitar! Who does that?
12) Decide whether one friend wanted to make out last night, and whether another friend was trying to get his friend to make out with me, and if so, whether it was out of pity or disdain for my general choice in makeout partners.
13) Marvel at fact that Skip Barber is of no relation to Tim Barber. Wonder if Tim, like Skip, has bumper stickers that appear in the Walnut Creek BART parking lot.
14) Maybe actually get to bed at a reasonable hour.
